WELCOME TO 2010 AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

It was good to see the boys playing well together after 5 weeks off eating and drinking (no beer i hope) and seemed to start the match as they finished the last on good form.

A lot of pressure from us early on but we could not  get Alfie or Charlie through past their defense who swooped on them straight away, but within about 15 mins a very cheeky chip from Alfie Martin gave us the lead and settled us down. Eagles White had a couple of near chances but nothing we couldn't handle, and once again Jaydon played a rock solid game again in defense. We didn't really have too many chances to score but came close with Ryan Little and Reece both having a go. The passing and awareness of each others position was 1st class and everyone's role was played well. With about 10 seconds to go they had a corner that went straight into our box, we just couldn't clear it and from very close range they had a shot at goal but was saved superbly by Ryan Smith.
