Northfleet Eagles Under 14's Gold

Update for 2011/2012 season.
3rd place in Bexley League Division A – not bad for a tough season where we lost a number of players mid-season and had to play with 10 boys on a number of occasions. Managed to make a couple of new signings later on in the season which helped us to progress. Overall, I am really proud of the boys for the way they responded to losing 5 members of the squad.

We are now building the team for next season and will welcome new trialists. Dates for trials will be confirmed via this website.

Northfleet Eagles under 14’s Gold will be playing in the Bexley A division for the 2011/2012 season after winning the B division last year. The majority of this team have been together since the Under 12’s and, as a result, play well together. We have signed on 3 new players for this season, as we lost 2 players from the original squad.

The side went through last year with only 1 loss and 1 draw which is brilliant in their first season in the Bexley League.  We reached the quarter finals of the Kent Cup – beating some very good Kent League sides along the way.

Our aim for the coming season is to carrying on developing the team even further by continuing to play quality football on the ground – where it should be played and with the lads continuing to enjoy the game.

Training is at Northfleet Recreation Ground on Saturday Mornings 10:00 – 11:30 and, at present, Tuesday evening 18:30 – 20:00.

Our home ground, for matches, is also at Northfleet Recreation Ground
